Speech & Language Screenings

Speech and language screenings may be scheduled for groups of 5 or more children at your school, daycare, or childcare facility.  Formal screening measures are used to provide a quick snap shot of a child's speech and language skills.  Screenings take approximately 10 minutes per child and determine if a full evaluation is necessary due to possible speech or language concerns.

speech & language evaluations

Speech and language evaluations may be scheduled for an individual child and are necessary before a child can begin therapy.  Evaluations, unlike screenings, provide an in-depth look at a child's speech and language skills and can determine if a delay is present.  Initial evaluations are typically performed in a child's home (rather than daycare or school) to allow us to provide the best care possible for your child.
