Sara Lotfi, M.A. CCC-SLPSara received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010. Prior to receiving her master’s degree from a program ranked #9 in the country for Speech-Language Pathology, she received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She began her work as a Speech Language Pathologist at a special education center in Palm Beach County, Florida where she gained experience working with speech and language delayed preschoolers with a variety of developmental and genetic disorders. Following her time in the schools, she spent 4 years working for one of the top pediatric home health agencies in the state of Texas in the greater Austin and Houston areas. While in Texas, Sara provided rehabilitative speech and language therapy services to clients in their home and preschool environments in addition to supervising other therapists. Following her time in Texas, Sara returned to South Florida where she treated preschool and school aged children in Miami-Dade County Public Schools for 6 years. Since 2016, she has provided screenings, evaluations, and treatment to children in the Miami-Dade County area privately in their school and home settings. Sara is also trained and certified in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program for children with delayed speech and language and the Hanen More Than Words program for children with delayed language and social communication skills. She is also trained in the PROMPT technique for children with oral muscular and phonological speech delays. |
